Mission
Achor Center, Inc. provides transitional and permanent affordable housing for single homeless women, women with children, seniors, and grandparents raising grandchildren.  Achor provides a model of intervention in a safe and nurturing environment with a comprehensive strategy of supportive services to promote economic independence and participation in mainstream society.

Purpose
The purpose of Achor is to provide an environment where participants are able to develop and maintain appropriate life skills by becoming regularly engaged in constructive activities that promote positive family and community lifestyles.  Through services offered, we seek integration of independent, successful families back into the community.
